Award-winning service

In 2018, CPTC received a Clinic Innovation Award from the Association of Psychology Training Clinics for delivering culturally relevant counseling services to UW–Madison students.

Diversity and inclusion efforts

The UW–Madison Division of Diversity, Equity and Educational Achievement partnered with CPTC to provide extraordinary mental health services, especially to students of color.

Experience in an innovative clinic

The potential to work at the clinic and as a community support specialist working with underrepresented students is often one reason prospective students apply to the PhD program. Current students maintain that enthusiasm after they start at CPTC.
